Comcast said on Tuesday its recently established streaming agency Peacock has over 15 million sign-ups because its launching, a growth rate of some 50% since July 30, the last time the company supplied data.

Comcast Corp hopes to include over 500,000 broadband customers in the present quarter, Chief Executive Officer Brian Roberts said in the Goldman Sachs Communacopia Conference.

Due to the effect of the coronavirus pandemic, Comcast’s EBITDA isn’t where the firm thought it’d be at this stage, said Roberts.

Comcast has reopened its Universal theme parks in Japan and Florida, but its park in California stays closed.

Roberts said he thought many people would wait patiently to get a COVID-19 vaccine prior to returning into theme parks, which the present presence at Universal parks represents roughly 25 percent of the typical amount of guests. “The business has slowed down several investments in theme parks,” Roberts explained.
